Man that is awesome and so simple. %15 more power at the engine would mean about 220 hp and 270 ft/lbs. This is on my christmas list now. Was that tested w/ headers and exhaust to achieve the numbers you got and if not how well will their computer work with these type modifications. I wonder if it would work on top of a stroker? Wink

I think its Monica....

I first met him back in the early-mid 1980s. He wanted to come to our race, Gravelrama, so we secured him a great campsite. He liked it so much the first year that he just kept camping, long after the race was over. By about 1986 or 87 he was off in Austrailia doing the Camel thing, and poor Monica was left to set up and start the Jeep Safari booth by her lonesome. Pretty girls always can get help.

That was way back in the days that the Jeep Safari was centered in the "barn", now home of Eddy McStiffs. So we all pitched in and helped her set up. Gary arrived a few days later. He enjoyed the Associates Party up at the Civic Center, then we adjourned down to the Poplar Place (prior to it burning, I think). We even managed to get him a bit drunk. Ok, all of us.

I haven't seen or heard from him in a number of years. He used to do all the events, writing stories for 4wd magazines, trailer magazines, even foreign mags (Japan?)

Interesting.
