Our fellow neighbor states love to come here and visit for famous festivals such as the Medieval Festival and the non-stop 3 week party called the 33rd Cervantino Festival which is going on right now as we speak! THE ABADIA HOTEL CONSISTS OF 2 SECTIONS. THE FIRST TRADITIONAL SECTION OF THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN THE HOTEL ZONE OF GUANAJUATO IN THE SAN JAVIER AREA. THIS SECTION OF THE HOTEL USED TO BE A COLONIAL HOME WHERE THEY FIMED THE FAMOUS FLICK "ESTAS RUINAS QUE VEZ" BACK IN 1978. THE BAR OF THIS TRADITIONAL SECTION OF THE HOTEL IS CONSTRUCTED ABOVE RUINS FROM THE XVII CENTURY.
