Heres the deal i bought a 00 xj salvage... i had the frame straightened minorly and put a new axle and shocks on the front... As I drive there is a little bit of a hum comming from the frontend and when i hit the brake there is a clanking noise coming from the front... at about 45-50 i have front end vibration... i think most of that is coming from bad tires and wheels from the wreck but I am stumped on the clank and noise issue... Mechanic say everything is sound and we can not find any problems???? Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

You may want to check the knuckle joints. Is it just one clank or is it several? Is it only with the brakes on? Is it rythmatic?
