i found out that it has a lock-up torque converter. i finally got it to were it will go into gear without killin. now it is making a grinding type noice. any ideas on what it might be. bad converter or bad trans. it will move a little like it is low on fluid. if you mess with it for a period of time it will not move at all until you give it a minute and restart it, it will try moveing agian.

In the engine the most sensitive sensor is the Throtle Position Sensor (TPS) and can kill the engine when you try to accelearte - but if you have a tranny going south you look like you have a bigger problem than a $45 sensor...
