Last year i Bought a 1985 cherokee for $50 the motor was new (4 banger) but the transfer case was out of it And now yesterday i talked to a guy that has a cherokee For $125. its a carbon copy of the one i bought last year but the motor is fried. So i think im gunna snatch it up. Am I Just lucky or does this happen often?

No doubt the XJ 4 bangers are a piece of crap.. but at the price you picked them up for at least you can practice your wrenching..

you pretty much can't give a 4-banger away around here. We buy them cheap for parts (fenders, tailights, etc.) and sell the rest for the metal scrap value.
