Does anyone have any tips on cutting my fenders? I am not going to install bushwackers or any other type flare, I just want a clean factory look but with enough material removed to run 33's in full suspension flex after a 4.5 lift. I just wondered if any of you have been through this and what tools you used, templates, etc.

Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

Masking tape, a sawzall and a real good quality metal blade. Make sure it's not a ripping blade. Take your time and work slow but deliberate. Mask where the sawzall will make contact with the fender. And draw out the line FIRST.Check it, then stand back and check it again, LOL

Good luck

Cutting with anything you have to watch what is around
the cut - brake lines - fuel lines - and anything that
will get hit by the back-spray from the torch - saw -
and the grinder ...

If in doubt pull it away - cover it with wet cardboard
or wet rags - and have the needed fire putting out stuff
around all the time...

If you are using a big grinder be sure that you don't have
burning frags flying out under your bench or your say that
tall shelf that holds all the oil - and other - flammable
stuff ...
