I have a 2000 Cherokee that has a leak somewhere. When I flip up the benchseat, I find a puddle of water in the space where the jack is housed. I can't find water anywhere else, and the puddle gets to be 4" deep in heavy rain.

The water is all contained in that compartment, I think it is coming in from the column, maybe from the roof? Any suggestions?

I would try a garden hose on it and look for water.

it is a 4 door. Crazy thing. My drive is sloped, when it is front end ont he high side, it leaks; but when level or the front end on the low side it doesn't leak...

I know, don't park it high side up!
