hi, im new and i recently got a 89 xj 4 door. Im looking for a set of locking hubs for the front? what kind are good? also i heard you can get the hubs from a ford ranger 4x4? thanks for any help

Putting manual hubs on an XJ isn't very cheap to do. Most conversion kits start around $600 or so, and go up. There are only two companies that make manual hub conversions for late model Jeeps: Warn and MileMarker. Warn's kit is by far the more popular and common of the two (I don't personally know anyone with the MM kit).

The hub lockouts are the same as what's used on a Bronco II but the spindles are different and I don't think the axle stub shafts are the same either.
