Hey guys,

My bro has a 83 XJ with the 4.0L and TF999 OD. He bought it with some type of 2.5" lift and it's running 31"s. The springs actually seem to have a fair amount of room left in them - they compress a good bit just sitting there. We're looking for the cheapest (safe) route to get a little more clearance without a whole new suspension. If he uses 2" taller shackles, we're thinking that the springs will be long enough but we'll need longer shocks. Also, will there be enough lift now that we may experience driveline vibes? OK to not adjust pinion? Ideas, suggestions welcome.. thanks!

1997 TJ Sport (TF999), 31" Wild Country LTR mud tires, 3.5 TeraFlex & discos, 1" Daystar BL/ML, Tera SYE, PSC Sahara Rockers w/step rail, BD tie rod, Procomp LCA's, tank skid, K&N drop-in... strategizing the buildup!
