Howdy folks! I need advice on tires. I have an 01 XJ Limited with the sixteen inch rims. Unfortunately this car sees far more street time than dirt time as I am a full time college student that commutes and I need tires that have off-road ability yet good highway manners and better-than-average snow and ice traction. I've heard really good things about BF Goodrich's All-Terrain K/O and have also investigated Pirelli's Scorpion ATR. If I go simply by Tirerack than the Pirelli is a better tire and a cheaper purchase to boot but I have heard really good things about the BF Goodrich.

BF Goodrich makes their All-Terrain K/O in my size, but TireRack.com says it rubs. Will the 225/70SR16's work on my Cherokee? Is there another all-terrain tire that would work well?
