Noticed a nice 2x2 94 on the side of the road - does not have any
4x4 stuff - was wonder if it is hard to put 4x4 back if you have a donor vehicle ?? Will my 90 4x4 gear go in a 94 ?? |

iv done one 2wd to 4wd swap it was an f150 we just put the body on a 4x4 frame what you want to do sounds like a lot of work but can be done

I have a 90 donar vehicle and an eye on a nice body
but it is two wheel drive. I'm trying to get rid of the 90 six with the CRAPPY cooling/overheating system and move up to a six with a radiator cap. Need the 4x4 for snow at ski town. 98/97 TJ, 4.0L, Atlas II 4.3 4.56 & ARBs, RE LA 4.5 Lift,BFG 35 6 pt cage, 5 pt belts, Beard seats, 2 compressors, 2M -6M radio, Winch, BP Bumpers,Sliders,K&N,RS 9000, RE track bars F/R, 24 Gal Tank, D30F/D44R, Steel 15x8 and an F-250 recovery vehicle... |

Check over at NAXJA. It's been done a few time and the MJ dudes just cannibalize 4WD XJ all the time for there sick and twisted needs.
