We are in the market for a midsized 4WD, either a four door P/U, or a SUV that is towable with all four wheels on the ground. Toyota, Chev, GMC, Ford all say that they have nothing like that, Nissan gives me a different answer every time I ask them. Does anyone know if a later model Nissan, say '95 or newer, is towable all four down without modification???

Who are you asking to get these answers?

From my Jeep experience I would venture that anything with a New Venture/New Process transfer case that has neutral should be towable without any issues. This would also include the Chevy/GMC S-series SUVs and pickups.

I'm not real familiar with Nissan, though it might not hurt to find one and check the owners manual. There is a chance that it will have flat tow instructions in it. If it does, they you are all set.

You might also want to check with a few RV places. They might have some suggestions.
