Hey gang! Been a loooon time....

Q: I currently have a 225/75/15 tire on a 15x7 rim. Could this same tire be mounted on a 15x8?

Also, Could a 33x10.5 tire be mounted on a 15x8 rim?

225/75/15 on a 15x8?
33x10.5 on a 15x8?
Thanks ya'll!!

yes and yes. i ran 35 x 12.50 on a 15 x 8 rim for a long time. one thing to remember is...the wider the rim the less likely it is to hold a bead when aired down.

later

Hmm.. Both are a little narrow for a 15x8. I think the 225/75 is only a little over 7".

Now, I've seen a bunch of 33x10.5s on the 15x7 stock wheels. That seems to make them tuck under the fenders just about right. though they probably rub a little at full lock.

I also ran 31x10.5s on 15x8s that seemed to work just fine, so I imagine that the 33x10.5s won't have any problem on those wheels either.
