I mailed this letter off today. Thought some of you might be interested in the quality of customer service that Teraflex offers. I have no affiliation with this company, just feel that good customer service deserves to be recognized.

Tera Manufacturing

Murray, Utah 84107-4711

Attn: Customer Service

As a customer of Teraflex, I would like to commend you on your customer service. I purchased a 4” lift kit, long arm kit, and four shocks from Mepco 4X4. When the kits arrived, I was missing four bolts. I called your service center and within two days had the four bolts delivered to my house.

After installing the lift, I realized that I needed an adjustable track bar. I ordered this through Mepco, but when the track bar arrived, it was used. I called Mepco, but there was only a recording that they had sold the business and to call back Monday. Needless to say, I figured that the new owners would never believe me and that there was no chance of getting the new track bar that I had purchased.

The following Monday I called Mepco and was told that Teraflex was the new owner. The service department acknowledged that there was a “New” track bar that had accidentally been switched with a customer return, and that they would ship out the new track bar immediately. Three days later I had a new track bar delivered to my house.

At this point I was completely satisfied with my interaction with Teraflex and was very impressed with the quality of your parts. I figured that Teraflex deserved some recognition for their effort and sent an email to your customer service inquiring about some stickers that I could put on the side of the jeep, as free advertising. I had looked on your web site and on Mepco’s to see about purchasing them, but they weren’t available. The email I sent only inquired about where to purchase some stickers. Imagine my surprise when several days later I received a package containing four stickers and a new catalog.

Teraflex’s customer service represents what all companies should strive for. Problems will occur in any business, but it’s how a company handles those problems that defines that business. Teraflex has surpassed every expectation and I would like to thank you for your exemplary service.

Sincerely,
Trent Carter

You know Trent it's funny. So many people are making good lift kits these days. One could argue their favorite brand successfully until the cows come home. Each uses quality materials and has roughly the same design. What it really comes down to is customer service. It's cool to see someone getting the attention they deserve from a company with which they have invested a sizeable portion of their earnings. Bravo man. Glad to see you got a good deal, and Tera has a new fan. Spread the word.

Stupid

They do have great customer service, however they need to improve quite a bit on some of their products.

I have been thinking about the purchase of a Teraflex 3" lift system....is there an issue with the kit I should know about...have there been many quality issues? I would like some input on it as I would hate to have a problem later.
