Ok,
Lets say that there was going to be a new shop your area. What sort of services would you need it to provide (besides good customer service).

I'm thinking:
1.) Parts sales: probably order/drop ship lifts and most accessories like the other mail order places. Also attempt to keep enough in stock to get the weekend warrior back to work on monday. Would probably include some sort of 'on call' hours late sunday night.

2.) Lift/parts installation: Skilled weldor and mech onsite.

3.) Gears/Lockers : Must be able to do this. Should also offer an installation error sort of warranty.

I'd probably also tailor to some of the AWD track crowd keeping WRX and Lancer parts around. Figuring some of the ricer crowd could keep the $$ flowing in to keep the labor rates decent.

Still need to run some numbers. I know there is a void in my area and with 2 parks in under 3 hours drive there are plenty of 'crawlers in the area.

I think they should also be happy to offer tech advice if you have a question during an install, and take customers on runs on the weekend. This will show new folks the trails in the area and be a product showcase for the shop.
