jeff could you do me a favor. if you still have a 19.2 volt board .could you post a close up shot i just need to see where the fuses are . meny thanks.
One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

NAT, PM me your email address if you like. I have a bunch of pictures of these cct boards. There are 2 in the landrover dont forget, 2 batteries too. there are no fuses on the boards. It looks to be a resetting circuit breaker on there though. I took pictures as best I could!! I willpost a couple but if you need more it will be email.

here is a shot for the 1:6 owners that run the 1 battery , red yukon, beetle and others. here you can see the 2 battery holders and the radio batteries. Never mind that this particular one has steering on both ends that part is not factory!

no jeff that was big help i.o.u. thanks isee now no fuses. these reset swiches as you say .i call them thermall cutout. same thing when the board reaches a certain temp. these shut it down .but sometimes they dont make contact again so the board gets no power .these can be replaced. with fuses. thanks jeff big help.

jeff have you ever had the problem of total electronic failure.on the 19.2 volt board. if so how did you correct it .also am i right in thinking .the motors are 351 type. thanks

i understand jeff .sometimes when a fault occures the fuses do not do there job and blow as they should.this takes out the dc controll chip .along with other things. surface mount tech .not easy to replace . thanks

the thing that gets me jeff is why these models need so much voltage.if you consider .a hobby grade esc can run a 540 motor at 7.2 volts. and yet the lr3 runs 351 motors but has a combine volatage with the 2 batts of .38.4 volts. thats a lot of volts for any r/c .seems very strange .

it doesnt combine the voltage, just runs them like you would parrallel 2 batteries. Much cheaper for them to sell you with 2 small 19.2's than a nice efficient 19.2 that wouldnt fit any other toy. this way they have the battery from your beetle with a 351 motor found it worked reasonably so double the power ie 2 motors, then needed to keep run time the same so doubled the batteries. also the speed control in the LR is not very strong. It cuts out very early when put under load. I tried to put a snow plow on mine thinking it had heaps of power, it could only go like a foot before the cutout operated.

yes jeff i know it does not combine this was just a metafore . there is still this volatge present at the r/c .i think newbright got in deep water when they made these 19.2 volt boards why they chose to use this voltage is some what of a mystery .to me

Hey j33p3r, i have a problem with my circuit board, i know that it is the circuit board because i tested the battery and the motors and everything works fine! What could the problem be?
