That's a shame, I saw your post on the other site and those guys put the NB down. The whole reason to mod the NB is for a cheap crawler. I could just as easily buy the Axial ax10 for $225 shipped from ebay cause I already have all the hobbie grade electronics and motor but it's the point of things. I'm not planning on letting my NB fall down a flight of stairs and I dought any crawler would survive that kind fall without breaking something. It's plastic, that will happen. Good luck!

for me, I'm not really seeing a cheap crawler.I bought it for $64(toysrus), sent another $25 for stupid hardware, springs, rod, etc. Now, I would need gear($45), those plastic dog bones-suck...upgrade to brass would be another $40...wow...up to almost $180...need motors?batts?...just keeps adding up??? only to not get any support from NB!sorry, rambling on...

my FJ, is stock! I built the chassis, shocks. Now I have to pay for the FJ chassis that was on ebay...I won-yeah for me..more money can you say $220 if ya got gears/dog bones now?Later,Chuck

Wow you do have a lot of money into that! I bought mine for $34.99 on kbtoys.com plus $10 shipping. I think I have $170 total invested with gears, motors, real shocks, links, custom chassis and two spare 2300mah batteries.

you should try the 1/6 it cost me £25 from a market stall brandnew and boxd spent another £50 on hobby swap changed chassie for £5.00 aready had the batts no gears needed or shocks or links pimp cane it guy you carnt go wrong .all the best with your future purchase but i think you will find all r/c models have there faults .no matter what make or how much they cost .thanks

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

if you are interested...I will sell everything NB for $50. That will include the custon chassis, super flex, custom shocks, custom body, and the rest. The tires and body are cut, the rims have been painted to look like bead locks. Right now the both motors are wired together. the controller is good and all the electronics. I spent plenty of time on the chassis. It's stronger and better than many out there. You can finish sanding it and then polish it for a great shine. The gear, dog bones, cups, etc. are still in good shape...never had anything slip at all.Chuck

this seems like a really good deal.

What battery does it use, and does the $50.00 include shipping.

Does it come with remote control?

Shipping is extra...what ever it would cost(nothing extra added) It will come complete. I think I even have the box it came in...not that that would do ya any good(probably cost more to ship in a big box) It has the factory 9.6V, controller, custom chassis, might even have to original (modified stock chassis)Battery charger,etc...Chuck

I ordered the axial myself. I couldn't wait for the Tamiya CR-01. I'm still keeping my NB to have fun with in the house and see how she does with the new gears outside! I bought a blue NB FJ for spare parts and to use the body for a scale crawler. Bodies are $20 plus shipping for scale so I got the blue one for $35 and I have spare parts if and when I break my NB.

I just wanted to toss in my 2 cents,,,,The AX-10 is a great crawler..BUT, Everyone and their grandma has one...you want to be a "rc rock crawler, go buy an AX-10..(Seams like that is the trend) The Beauty on building the New Bright into a comp rig is that not many people have them..It is almost like a one of a kind, Its the joy you get for saying "I built this rig my self" Not...when some one says."hey cool RC. and your like thanks, I just bought it ready to go....So thats my two cents for the day..Nothing aginst ax-10, They are sweet,I just like the Fealing of knowing that "I built this rig"..

In the process of Building. I not to sure if it ever stops!

That's exactly why I built my NB to what it is now. I don't have any videos to show it's capability, but I will. I'll do a comparason of my NB and AX on the same course.

well, toooo late boys! My little girl wants this crawler.I am sorry, but not for sale now.

The Axial came in yesterday.I took my time and 8hrs later, was able to kill some rocks!! As for building...the new bright was assembled-this was not!The new bright cant climb anything, unless you buy gear, the axail can.I wont compare anymore, but dont make it sound like everyone has one...at $380 for the kit versus $60 for a NB...I find that hard to believe. All you can do w/NB is mod. They have mad flex, but flex ain't everything.Chuck
