I have a 86 Ford Ranger I would like to change out the rear drum breaks to disc..Can anyone tell me if I can do this and where I might find the parts to do this with..Thanks..

I am not a total expert on the topic, But I do know that one of the Best axles to use on a Ranger is the 8.8 31 Spline Axle out of the Ford Exlpor. Now the reason Im ,mentioning this is because thay all ready have disk breaks on them and you should be able to swap it right in. They are not all that costly at a junk yard. I think the only thing you have to do re-locate the shock tabs. This option would give you a few good +'s you get a stronger axel and disk breaks. It is a really Great swap to do!
