Somebody please help. Just bought an 87, drove it home in 2H. Went to shift from 2H to 4H and now I'm stuck in neutral!! What's up? Tried rocking it but no luck.

Pull the shifter, reposition the shafts (down inside) to center, reinstall the shifter and you should be able to shift (carefully).

When you can, get a new shifter sheet (available from most of the suzuki aftermarket folks) to keep it from happening again. The shifter sheet is the bushing that keeps everything tight down there.

Here is a link to an article about it.
